Quarantine Diaries : Check In
Just a reminder that it's okay that you aren’t being productive at this time.
Just a reminder that it's okay that you haven’t started that business plan , read that book, learned that new language. It's okay that you're being unproductive. It’s okay to check in with yourself, to reflect on how this is affecting you.
You aren’t alone.
Remember to be gentle with yourself there is no “right way” to quarantine. There’s no rule book. None of us have lived through a pandemic like this one before. Drink lots of water, read your bible, relax on that couch all day and do nothing but daydream, if that makes you feel better. No ones gonna see that your sweats are stained, or that your hair is not combed. (I mean still bathe and brush your teeth... cause EW) but don’t feel the pressure to look presentable. Or do. Do what is going to make you the most relaxed and feel the most comforted. This isn’t easy.
Even I, a self proclaimed introvert am understanding the importance of human connection from all this. While I can't say that my day to day changed all that much... I can say that I am already mentally planning several trips and vacation ideas with friends for when the outside opens back up.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Most importantly, STAY HOME.
